Arthur Stanley Jefferson, “Stan Laurel,” was born June 16, 1895 in Ulverston, Lancashire, England and died February 23, 1965. Oliver Norvelle Hardy, “Oliver Hardy,” was born January 18, 1892 in Harlem, Georgia and died August 7, 1957.
Laurel & Hardy teamed up in 1926 for their first film, “Forty Five Minutes From Hollywood,” they then went on to complete 101 films.
